This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn, and why not head up to Trollhaugen and strap some skis to your feet. Get dripping wet paddling on Apple River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around School Lake; Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail is a great       local trail. Camping at Hillcrest RV Park is always a nice experience, and if you've had enough of School Lake, Lake Mattson is close by. School Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. School Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Blue waters Leisure Park is a tremendous local campground;                  why not stop by Lindberg Point also while you're here. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to School Lake. Visiting Saint Croix National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and Wild Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. During the days of summer here at School Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's with temperatures at School Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights.
