Enjoy a round of golf at Chisago Lakes Golf Course not far from School Lake, and Budget Host Inn-Stes N. Branch is a splendid place to get some rest. Very charming scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Trollhaugen, and get wet paddling on Apple River. High temperatures at School Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. Highs       throughout the winter are regularly in the 10's while School Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of School Lake. A nice location to camp here at School Lake is Blue waters Leisure Park, and what would winter be without some skiing at Wild Mountain. Why not camp at Hillcrest RV Park if you're here at School Lake, and of course, all our national parks are tremendous spots                  to go to and Saint Croix National Scenic River is no exception. If you need a place to stay Americinn - North Branch, Mn is a wonderful choice; whitewater paddling is good on St. Croix River. The yearly rain here at School Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June while February is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than School Lake, for example Lake Martha, and a journey to close by Lindberg Point is very relaxing. This lake is so wonderful.
