When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Schelin       Lake drop into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Schelin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine River Campground is a great place for that, and there are plenty of people from Duluth here at Schelin Lake. Having a good time at Schelin Lake is easy. Schelin Lake is a location that is reasonably dried out mostly; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Cloquet; whitewater paddling is wonderful on St. Louis River.
