A beautiful lake like Dog Lake close to Savidge Lake is a fine place to check out; the slopes of Mount Kato are so inviting nobody can resist. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Savidge Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
