All through the warm months at Sandy Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's with temperatures at Sandy Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. There are       plenty of people from Bemidji here at Sandy Lake, and if you came to camp Hamilton's Fox Lake Campground is a nice spot to do that. You absolutely have to adore Sandy Lake. There's pleasant hiking along the Meadow Lake Trail System; you'll come across a beautiful lake called Jackson Lake. A wonderful close by hotel is Americinn - Bemidji, Mn, and the Webster Lake Trail System offers hiking at its best. Not much rainfall falls here at Sandy Lake; most of the                  rain falls during July while February is typically the driest month. Camping at Gull Lake Campground and Mobile is always a brilliant experience, and playing golf is lots of fun at Castle Highlands Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful.
