Camping is available at O-NE-Gum-Me Campground, and unsurprisingly Dinner Creek flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Near Sand Lake you locate the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Birds Eye Lake. The       amount of precipitation that falls at Sand Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Sand Lake called the Simpson Creek Trail System; Trappers Landing Lodge is a magnificent place to get some rest. All through the summertime at Sand Lake highs are typically in the 80's. When the night                  sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 10's with temperatures at Sand Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. This place, Sand Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors amusing stuff.
