Sand Lake is a good place of common rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. At Sand Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Sand Lake fall into the-10's. This lake       is so wonderful. If you came to camp Northern Acres Resort and Campground is a delightful site to do that, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Minni-Car-Car Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Turtle Mound Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Trappers Landing Lodge. Do visit Birds Eye Lake right next door to Sand Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and camping at O-NE-Gum-Me Campground is always a tremendous experience. Sand Lake is right                  by the Simpson Creek Trail System, and why not take a little trip to Dinner Creek if you're here. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Sand Lake has it all.
