This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby St James Golf Course, and camping at Sands Country Cove Campground is always a wonderful experience. Super 8 Motel - St. James is a tremendous site to get       some rest, and Saint James Lake is not far at all from New Ulm. After a long day outdoors Americinn Madelia is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Welcome Campground. High temperatures at Saint James Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
