Not far from Rush Lake, you'll hit upon Twin Oaks Lake which is a charming lake, and you can stay the night at New Horizon Resort and Lodge. All through the warm months highs here at Rush Lake get into the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 10's, and after the sun is down       during the wintertime temperatures at Rush Lake dip into the-10's. Country Inn By Carlson Detroit Lakes is a nice location to get some rest, and Woodland Trails Resort is a delightful campground nearby. Playing golf is lots of fun at Mahnomen Country Club.
