Jko Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Skeeter Lake Trail System. Round Lake is located in the Mesabi Range. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Mesabi Range. A good close by hotel is Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids, and Sal's Campground is a great local campground. After a long       day outdoors Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids is a delightful site to spend a night or two; a lovely lake like Bass Lake is a magnificent site to visit. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. A round of golf at nearby Eagle Ridge Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time. High temperatures at Round Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through                  the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Round Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Round Lake is close to the national average; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
