The amount of rain that falls at Round Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. If you came to camp Sawbill Campground is a fine spot to do that, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Lutsen. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Temperance River, and there's good hiking along       the Granite River Portage. Don't leave Round Lake without first going for a hike along the Rib Lake Trail, and there are pleasant places to discover along the Pine Portage. Summer at Round Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Round Lake are in the-10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place.
