     Super 8 Eveleth is a brilliant place to get some rest, and Rose Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Pine River Campground is a glorious local campground. For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 70's at Rose Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 10's with temperatures at Rose Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. At  
   Rose Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest of the months is February. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Spirit Mountain, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of St. Louis River.
Just can't get enough of Rose Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Cloquet; during your tour here you'll meet some people from Duluth for sure. You can run the rapids of Cloquet River near Rose Lake; lakes
 
               are such calm sites, why not go to Dodo Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Rose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ico Campground is a pleasant place for that, and a wonderful lake like Leora Lake is a great spot to pop by.

The river is at least 100 miles long. I've paddled from Katherine Lake to the St. Louis River and there is plenty of river to paddle besides the section from US 53 to US 2. The top section, from Katherine Lake to Lake Co #2 is an especially wild ride, and I've only done it once, but the drop is incredible, sometimes like a logging flume....

We are always listed as a resort with cabin rentals. our 7 site seasonal campground that has not had an opening for several years, so it is never listed under campgrounds.
