There's tremendous hiking along the Simpson Creek Trail System; Lake Roosevelt is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, East Seelye Campground is a delightful local campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Roosevelt with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are regularly in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Lake Roosevelt. The Turtle       Mound Trail offers hiking at its best. There's so much to do here at Lake Roosevelt that you need to camp here for a while, West Seelye Campground is a good place for that. Dry warm beds await you at Trappers Landing Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Lake Roosevelt without first going for a hike along the Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail, and Cutfoot Experimental Forest is a forest that you can go to.
