East Bay Suites is a perfect place to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Road Lake; Long Portage is a brilliant local trail. Road Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.

drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Devil Track River, and you can hit the slopes at Lutsen close at hand. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Road Lake reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer
temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 10's with temperatures at Road Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.
