Why not stop by Rice Lake if you're passing through these parts. The Cutfoot Sioux National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came for an overnight stay Noma Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a nice location to camp. Throughout the summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Rice Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at

| | Rice Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Blackduck, Mn, and Rice Lake is right by the Simpson Creek Trail System. This lake is so wonderful. East Seelye Campground is a good campground nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Rice Lake; Lost '40' Trail is a good local trail. Rice Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
