During the warm months at Rice Lake highs are commonly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 10's; overnight lows in the-10's for Rice Lake. While you're here at Rice Lake, you could also go to scenic Spring Lake. There's so much to do here at Rice Lake that you need to camp       here for a while, Kozy Oaks Kamp is a delightful spot for that. On a good day at Rice Lake you can take a hike along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - North Branch, Mn is a splendid site to spend a night or two. Rice Lake is a good site of common rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater                  paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Snake River, and Rice Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Rush Haven Resort is a good local campground.
