A common amount of rain falls here at Rice Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. If you came for an overnight stay Ham Lake Campground is a wonderful place to camp; stopping by Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so       wonderful. Rice Lake is not far at all from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Buck Hill. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Rice Lake. If you get bored of Rice Lake, you could also visit nearby Baldwin Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Shoreview, MN.
