After a long day outdoors Caribou Highlands Lodge is a good site to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight stay Gunflint Pines is a great spot to camp. Summertime at Rib Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Rib Lake. Dry warm beds       await you at Americinn - Tofte, Mn. There's great hiking along the Rib Lake Trail, and why not explore nearby Dawkins Creek since you're here at Rib Lake. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Rib Lake. Soar down the rapids of Temperance River in a kayak; the Pine Portage offers hiking at its best. If you come at the right time of year, Poplar River offers some tremendous whitewater, and Baker Lake Campground                  is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Rib Lake is right by the Granite River Portage, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Lutsen.
