Throughout the warm days of summer here at Rib Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Rib Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is brilliant       on Temperance River; you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Fawn Lake is one of those nearby. Camping is available at Baker Lake Campground; Rib Lake is right by the Granite River Portage. A splendid close by hotel is Caribou Highlands Lodge, and a magnificent place to camp here at Rib Lake is Gunflint Pines. Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Rib Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Portage; naturally, this is a fine region for people who like lakes, Doe Lake is a lake close at hand. An average amount of precipitation falls at Rib Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
