    If you are in Cook county it's always a good idea to stop by Reward Lake. A spree to James Bay in the neighborhood of Reward Lake is always a delightful idea, and there's fine hiking along the Gneiss Trail. Don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Granite River, and the Gneiss Lake Portage offers hiking at its best. Any time is a fine time at Reward Lake if you fancy the outdoors. A visit to Horsetail Rapids will fill your spirit with good feelings,  
   and hiking is a popular thing to do around Reward Lake; Maraboeuf Lake Portage is a pleasant local trail.
All through the summer months at Reward Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's; overnight lows in the-10's for Reward Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
