You'll need more than a day to look at everything Reed Lake has to offer, you can camp at Elk Lake Campground. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Reed Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 10's, and night lows at Reed Lake during the winter generally dip into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places,       why not visit Ostlund Lake next to Reed Lake. There's so much to do here at Reed Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Runestone Bed and Breakfast is a great place for that. It is very dried up here at Reed Lake frequently; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. An afternoon playing golf at Red Rock Golf Course is always a bliss, and there are other places here than Reed Lake,                  for example Wilson Lake.
