Red River is close to Red River of the North-Drayton Dam which is a beautiful place definitely worth visiting, and a pleasant close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Hallock. Around Red River you don’t get a lot of rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Select Inn Grafton is a splendid place to spend a night or two. There's       so much to do here at Red River that you need to camp here for a while, Grafton Campground is a great spot for that. Summertime highs at Red River typically tend to be in the 80's; the night is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Red River.
