Not far from Rapids Lake, you'll find Horseshoe       Lake which is a wonderful lake, and you can hit the slopes at Buck Hill close at hand. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Rapids Lake has to offer, you can camp at Minneapolis Southwest KOA. Lakes are wonderful; Long Lake is a lake that's close to Rapids Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Rapids Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. The cold days                  of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Rapids Lake dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Carver Creek in close proximity to Rapids Lake is a fine idea, and Johnson Slough is an attention-grabbing swamp close to Rapids Lake. Be careful coming to Rapids Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. It's always good to go to Carver Rapids.
