If you came to camp Thistledew Campground is a good location to do that; do check out Kelly Lake, it's a scenic lake. Going for a hike along the Wasson Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of       this region; a striking lake like Walters Lake is a brilliant place to take a look at. Summertime highs at Rainbow Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and overnight lows in the-20's for Rainbow Lake.
