Do stop by Prayer Lake while you're in this part of Minnesota. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Lutsen. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Gunflint Pines is a great spot to camp, and don't forget to have a look at James Bay while you're here. High temperatures at Prayer Lake through the warm months are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 10's, and after

While you're here at Prayer Lake you can take a hike along the Gneiss Trail, and Reward Lake is a great lake nearby. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Prayer Lake has it all. On a wonderful day at Prayer Lake you can take a hike along the Maraboeuf Lake Portage; Horsetail Rapids is a beautiful place to have a look at while you're at Prayer Lake. | |

There is a great hiking trail near Prayer Lake called the Gneiss Lake Portage; Sea Gull Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. The yearly precipitation here at Prayer Lake is about average; August
is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. Sawbill Campground is a brilliant local campground; lakes are such serene places, why not have a look at Shadow Lake.
