Sea Gull Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth checking out, and the beauty of mother nature reveals       herself at Horsetail Rapids. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful here at Prayer Lake, you can go for a hike along the Maraboeuf Lake Portage, and Lutsen is a magnificent local ski area. For the duration of the summer months here at Prayer Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Prayer                  Lake dipping down into the-10's all through winter nights. What a location this is for outdoors people. James Bay is not far from Prayer Lake at all.
