Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 10's, and after       the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Prayer Lake descend into the-10's. While you're here at Prayer Lake you can take a hike along the Gneiss Trail, and Reward Lake is a great lake nearby. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Prayer Lake has it all. On a wonderful day at Prayer Lake you can take a hike along the Maraboeuf Lake Portage; Horsetail Rapids is a beautiful place to have a look at while you're at Prayer Lake.                  There is a great hiking trail near Prayer Lake called the Gneiss Lake Portage; Sea Gull Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. The yearly precipitation here at Prayer Lake is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.
