This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Prairie Lake, you could also visit striking Sand Lake. There's so much to do here at Prairie Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tony's Campground is a nice location for that. A pleasant close by hotel is Super 8 Fergus Falls, and not far from Prairie       Lake you get some wonderful water scenery at Prairie Lake Dam. Not much rainfall falls here at Prairie Lake; most of the rain falls during June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A round of golf at nearby Birchwood Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time, and do check out Prairie Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Summertime highs at Prairie Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the                  50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Prairie Lake are in the-10's.
