Go for a hike on the Herubin Truck Trail. There's so much to do here at Porcupine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big K Campground is a delightful place for that. From a rainfall point of view Porcupine Lake is a pretty typical spot; June is when you get the most rain here while February is ordinarily the driest month. So many enjoyable things next to Porcupine Lake, simply striking. Near Porcupine Lake       you come across the East White Pine Truck Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and after a long day outdoors Country Meadows Inn is a perfect place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Town & Country Motel is a good location to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Snake River. The warmest time of the year at Porcupine Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days                  of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Porcupine Lake tend to be in the-10's.
