Charley Lake is a good lake next to Poplar Lake, and Poplar Lake is not far at all from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Buck Hill is near Poplar Lake. Poplar Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February       meanwhile is the driest month. Throughout the months of summer here at Poplar Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. This lake is so wonderful.
