Go to Poplar Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Hyland Ski, and as expected, all our national parks are great sites to stop at and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Pike Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Lowry Grove is a nice place to camp.
