There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Pool Lake called the Meadow Lake Trail System, and camping is available at Moens Birch Haven Campground. Pool Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is       so wonderful. You're almost certainly into lakes, School Lake is one of those close by; lots of people from Bemidji come here. At Pool Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Pool Lake. While you're here at Pool Lake you can play some golf at Castle Highlands Golf Course; after a long day outdoors                  Hampton Inn Suites Bemidji is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Pool Lake. Going for a hike on the Webster Lake Trail System is always a pleasant adventure, and Buena Vista is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. This is a splendid area for people who like lakes.
