Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Pettibone Beach, and you can hit the slopes at Mount La Crosse close at hand. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Pool 7. Hit the beach if you want, Black River Public Beach is practically right here; there are plenty of people from La Crosse here. High temperatures at Pool 7       throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Pool 7 sink into the 0's. The amount of rain that falls at Pool 7 is close to the national average; September is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need                  a place to stay Days Hotel La Crosse Conference Center is a fine choice, and close to Pool 7 you discover a golf course called Pine Creek Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Midway Hotel Riverfront Resort is a nice place to get some rest, needless to say you could also visit Lake Onalaska since you're here; it's not far at all.
