Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Temperance River; Pogo Lake is right by the Granite River Portage. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Pogo Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February. If you came for an overnight stay Baker Lake Campground is a splendid site to camp, and of course, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Ernest Lake is       a lake in the neighborhood. A spree to Little Rock Falls will fill your spirit with pleasant feelings, and you're most likely addicted to lakes, Kerfoot Lakes is one of those close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Some of the water close by flows, like Cross River; hiking is a popular thing to do around Pogo Lake; Pine Portage is a fine local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Gunflint Pines since you're here at Pogo Lake, and                  why not take a refreshing hike along the Rib Lake Trail. The snow is fine at Lutsen. The warmest time of the year at Pogo Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's.
