A pretty lake like Vale Lake in close proximity to Pine Lake is a magnificent place to explore; the Lesser Cherry Portage is a great hiking trail nearby. Brule River is a great whitewater spot in close                  proximity to Pine Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Superior Inn And Suites. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kadunce River, and going for a hike on the Great Cherry Portage is always a great adventure. Gadwall Lake is a nice lake next to Pine Lake, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Vaseux Portage. At Pine Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's.
