A good place to camp here at Pine Lake is Waldheim Resort, and perfect hiking is available along the Herubin Truck Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Hinckley-Days Inn, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Kettle River. This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Bass Lake near Pine Lake, and       there's fine hiking along the Giese Truck Trail. Thomas Digman Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pine Lake; East White Pine Truck Trail is a glorious local trail. Pine Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is February. A beautiful lake like Thomas Digman Reservoir close to Pine Lake is a great spot to stop by, and camping                  is available at Garnet Acres Guest Ranch. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do in the vicinity of Pine Lake. Travelodge Hinckley is a nice place to get some rest, and there are some great whitewater spots on Snake River. At Pine Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
