    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Pick Lake. Pick Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Camping is available at Deer Acres, and do take a hike on the North Country Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Goose Lake Trail System, and a lake close by is Pancake Lake.
Hiking along the Lake Erin Trail is wonderful fun. Summer brings highs
 
   in the 70's to Pick Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 10's; night lows at Pick Lake during the winter generally drop into the-10's. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Pick Lake. Bungey Bay is not far from Pick Lake at all, and if you get bored of Pick Lake you could also stop by close by Child Lake.

               Brainerd come to Pick Lake, and a brilliant close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Pine River. If you came for an overnight stay Austin's Swamp is a pleasant place to camp; if you need a place to stay Trappers Landing Lodge is a brilliant choice.

...one of our favorite Minnesota campgrounds and we stay here several times each summer. We love that it is right on a lake and that many of the sites have their own little beach. The campground is quiet and the sites˙ are screened from one another for privacy. I hate to even post a review out of the fear that our favorite camping secret will become everyone's camping favorite. It is close enough to Longville˙ and Remer that you can run in for ice and supplies as needed. One small hint that I will pass on is that you might want to stop in Longville or Hackensack to buy your˙ firewood as the campground does not have any for sale.Mabel Lake campground is not on a campsite reservation system but we have never had a problem finding a site here. We discovered this campground as a result of finding one of the more popular Leech Lake campgrounds full. Once we found Mabel Lake, we never bothered with the other campgrounds in the area again. Mabel Lake is rustic so those seeking hook-ups, flush toilets, and running water best move on to the more crowded campgrounds on Leech Lake and leave us to ...
