Lakes are great; Source Lake is a lake that's close to Phantom Lake. There is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Phantom Lake called the Moosewalk Snowmobile Trail, and needless to say, this is a great region for folks who like lakes, Driller Lake is a lake around here. Phantom Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month of the year is February.       Phantom Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Rocky Shores Campground is a splendid local campground; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Crow Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Kelly Trail is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Phantom Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Cove Point Lodge. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Phantom Lake is excellent! A great site to camp here at Phantom Lake                  is McDougal Lakes Campground, and after a long day outdoors Grand Superior Lodge is a splendid location to spend a night or two. If the weather is tremendous here at Phantom Lake, you can go for a hike along the North Shore Snowmobile Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Gooseberry River offers some pleasant whitewater. Summertime highs at Phantom Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while Phantom Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.
