On a splendid day at Petit Lake you can take a hike along the Honeymoon Trail; if you need a site to stay Caribou Highlands Lodge is a wonderful choice. From a rain point of view Petit Lake is a quite typical site; most of the rain falls through August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Petit Lake called the Rib Lake Trail,       and hey, Willow Creek is a delightful local stream. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Temperance River; if you came for an overnight stay Baker Lake Campground is a delightful site to camp. This place is great, just look at all the exciting stuff to do next to Petit Lake. Going for a hike on the Pine Portage is always a fine adventure, and float down the rapids of Poplar River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. This is a nice neighborhood for people                  who like lakes. Midget Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Wee Lake, and Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a wonderful spot to get some rest. Through the summertime months at Petit Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Petit Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
