Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn; get covered with water paddling on St. Croix River. During the months of summer at Peterson Slough highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Peterson Slough.       This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Peterson Slough that you need to camp here for a while, Hillcrest RV Park is a good place for that, and do take a look at North Pool, it's a beautiful lake. From a precipitation point of view Peterson Slough is a relatively common spot; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Sunrise River Pool 3 near Peterson Slough,                  and golf can be played at North Branch Golf Course. Be careful coming to Peterson Slough, you might not ever wanna go back home again. While you're here at Peterson Slough you can take a hike along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail, and the panoramas at Saint Croix National Scenic River will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful.
