Wild Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby; Americinn - North Branch, Mn is a tremendous spot to get some rest. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Peterson Slough get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Peterson Slough.       Peterson Slough gets a normal amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls throughout June; February meanwhile is the driest month. Get drenched paddling on St. Croix River; you can stay the night at Hillcrest RV Park. So much exciting stuff to do at Peterson Slough, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Inn-Stes N. Branch, and in the vicinity of Peterson Slough you locate a golf course called North Branch Golf Course. There's so much to do                  here at Peterson Slough that you need to camp here for a while, Blue waters Leisure Park is a good place for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Peterson Slough; Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail is a glorious local trail.
