Yeah, come here to Peterson Lake for a great time. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Pine River is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Goose Lake Trail System, and at Peterson Lake you always meet someone from Brainerd. Peterson Lake is delightful enough to spend more than       a day at, Fifty Lakes Campground is a delightful local campground, and Stony Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. At Peterson Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 10's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Peterson Lake tend to be in the-10's. From a rainfall point of view Peterson Lake is a pretty normal place; the month of                  June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
