Beautiful Perch Lake has much to offer visitors. There is a good hiking trail near Perch Lake called the Snake Trail; whitewater paddling is good on Little Fork River. This lake is so wonderful. Near Perch Lake you come across the Stingy Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sturgeon River. in the 10's; night lows at Perch Lake during the wintertime mostly plunge into the-10's.
Perch Lake is a beautiful lake in the Mesabi Range. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Mesabi Range has to offer.
Perch Lake is a good place of typical rain; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
