Frieze Lake is in close proximity, and after a long day outdoors Little Falls Super 8 Motel is a great location to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Pelkey Lake throughout the summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 10's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Pelkey Lake drop into the-10's.       This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at Pelkey Lake is Fletcher Creek Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Mississippi River. Pelkey Lake gets a typical amount of rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. A wonderful close by hotel is Country Suites By Carlson Little Falls, and you're possibly into lakes, Rice Lake is one                  of those close by. Camping is available at Two Rivers Park, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Sauk River.
