Beautiful Park Lake has much to offer visitors. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Carlton, Mn is a great site to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Park Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Lake Resort. Very fine water scenery is available at Park Lake Dam next to Park Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Kettle River. | | 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's while Park Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Torchlight Lake in the neighborhood of Park Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Cloquet River. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Head up to Spirit Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and Park Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Park Lake Resort and Campgrounds is a brilliant location to camp nearby. For you golfers we recommend
close by 29 Pines Golf Course. The amount of precipitation that falls at Park Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months
is February. A tremendous close by hotel is Americinn - Moose Lake, Mn, and you'll discover a striking lake called G-2 Pond.

 | 16 miles away The river is at least 100 miles long. I've paddled from Katherine Lake to the St. Louis River and there is plenty of river to paddle besides the section from US 53 to US 2. The top section, from Katherine Lake to Lake Co #2 is an especially wild ride, and I've only done it once, but the drop is incredible, sometimes like a logging flume.... |
