    If you are in Itasca county it's always a good idea to stop by Pancake Lake. Pancake Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Swan Lake Resort is a great spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Swan Lake Campground is a perfect local campground, and a scenic lake like New Lake is a brilliant place to pop by. After a long day outdoors Hibbing Park Hotel is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and do go to Cropless Lake, it's a lovely lake.
 
   Summertime highs at Pancake Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Pancake Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Pancake Lake is close to the national average; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.  
               Going for a hike along the Headboom Logging Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a pleasant close by hotel is Hibbing Super 8 Motel.

At our convenience store you'll be able to pick up basic groceries, ice cream, pizzas, snacks, ice, fishing licenses, tackle, and night crawlers. We also carry unleaded gas and motor oil. We have hiking trails up through the woods and a playground for the little ones. The paved Central Lakes Trail goes right by us, so bring your bikes. Our paddleboats, kayaks...
