Ozada Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Two Island Lake Campground is a wonderful local campground, and do have a look at Tunmore Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Ozada Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Very stunning scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Lutsen. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Ozada Lake. For the

| | period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 10's while Ozada Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.

if you need a place to stay Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains is a good choice. This spot is so good, just explore all the fun stuff to do near Ozada Lake. There's so much to do here at Ozada Lake that you need to camp here for
a while, Cascade River Campground is a great place for that, and why not take a little tour to Ball Club Creek while you're here.
You can run the rapids of Cascade River close to Ozada Lake, and do take a hike on the North Shore
State Trail. There's whitewater on Cascade River for all you adrenaline junkies, and Super 8 Grand Marais is a great spot to get some rest.

Two Island Lake Campground
 | I have only been there in the winter waiting for the mushers to come through (for the Beargease Marathon), it is where I want my ashes to be. I missed one year of the Beargrease race (1998) but the next year I was there at Two Island it was a full moon and it was snowing at the same time, could see down the trail like it was daylight but it was snowing....that was my sign...like I didn't fall in love with it before...this is a beautiful place, small camground but nice in the summer. jkf... |
