Sure, Beaver Lake is nearby. A perfect close by hotel is Wendigo Lodge Golf Conference, and why not camp at North Star Campground while you're here at Oxbow Lake. All through the months of summer at Oxbow Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 10's; nighttime lows in the-20's       for Oxbow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Oxbow Lake, you'll hit upon Forjer Lake which is a beautiful lake, and there's fine hiking along the Skeeter Lake Trail System. After a long day outdoors Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids is a great location to spend a night or two, and Cedar Point Resort is a nice local campground. Oxbow Lake is a good location of typical precipitation; during July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Just can't get enough of Oxbow Lake.
