Orono Lake is a good spot of common rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a charming lake called Rice Lake near Orono Lake, and Orono Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Wapiti Park Camp Grounds is a great local campground. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do near       Orono Lake. A golf course in close proximity to Orono Lake is Elk River Country Club. Summertime at Orono Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Orono Lake tend to be in the-10's. A wonderful place to camp here at Orono Lake is KOA Minneapolis Nw Campground, also Elk River Dam is worth stopping at                  if you're here.
