    Why not stop by Onagon Lake if you're passing through these parts. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Onagon Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Onagon Lake are in the-10's. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Lutsen, and going for a hike along the Maraboeuf Lake Portage will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. That  
   right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Onagon Lake has it all. Onagon Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Gunflint Pines is a magnificent local campground.
A lake nearby is Cupid Lake; a quick visit to Sea Gull Creek is certainly a great idea. An average amount of precipitation falls at Onagon Lake; most of the rain falls all through August; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the
 
               Gneiss Trail is magnificent fun, needless to say you could also stop by Ambush Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
While you're here at Onagon Lake you can take a hike along the Gneiss Lake Portage, and camping at Sawbill Campground is always a good experience.
