Why not stop by Oberg Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail next to Oberg Lake called the North Shore State Trail, and hey, Gotta ski right? Lutsen is a tremendous location to do that. Temperance River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by, and the summits of the Sawtooth Mountains add much beauty to the neighborhood. | | you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Poplar River.
Be careful coming to Oberg Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Camping is available at Poplar River Campground, and the Honeymoon Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. Oberg Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.

All through the summertime months, highs typically are in the 70's at Oberg Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 10's; overnight lows at Oberg Lake through
the wintertime frequently drop into the-10's. Leveaux Mountain is a peak you can make out from Oberg Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Caribou Highlands Lodge. If you came for an overnight stay Temperance River Campground is a great place to camp, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a glorious choice.
