Lakes are tremendous; Barker Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Oberg Lake, and nearby you stumble on the North Shore State Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Poplar River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Caribou Highlands Lodge is a pleasant location to get some rest. The Honeymoon Trail is a perfect hiking trail in       the neighborhood of Oberg Lake, and you can run the rapids of Temperance River. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Lutsen; a range like the Sawtooth Mountains is always scenic. That right there is a load already, but it goes on; Oberg Lake has it all. The summit of Leveaux Mountain can be seen from Oberg Lake, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Tofte, Mn is a great spot to spend a night or two. If you came for an overnight stay Temperance River                  Campground is a nice site to camp, and hey, Leveaux Creek is a great local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Poplar River Campground since you're here at Oberg Lake; as expected, this is a splendid neighborhood for people who like lakes, Bradley Lake is a lake nearby. Oberg Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summer at Oberg Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the overnight is a little colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
