Lake Jefferson
 | 16 miles away I also vacationed at Jefferson as a child but cannot remember name of place where dad took us. Remember that there were cabins on one side and we also camped on the othere side of the lake. Also, remember when we were out fishing we passed under a bridge to Lake Henry to catch some of the biggest yellow bellies I've ever seen. Want to take my kids and grandkids there...Totally agree this has happened on several lakes I have fished, most lakes put a three or four hour recreational regulation on the lakes. I agree the people have become so self centered, and it is all about them. They should be spending quality time fishing instead of all this time in high speed on seperate play toy's that is not quality time.... |

Cedar Grove Camp Ground
 | 17 miles away I loved Cedar Grove Campgrounds!!! I have some wonderful memories of this place. I was wondering if anyone knew if Cedar Grove campground is still open? I used to camp here as a child growing up and we stopped camping here due to the fact that we were told that it was being mined for the sand. Does anyone know if this is true? I would love to start camping there if they are open.... |
