North Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. If you came to camp Lake Jeanette Campground is a fine place to do that; going for a hike on the Beatty Portage is always a brilliant adventure. While you're here at North Lake, you could also explore delightful Auchagah Lake; Snow Bay is around       here and always pleasant to go to. And that's not all you can do here at North Lake. Vermilion River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of North Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Echo Trail; after a long day outdoors Pine Ridge Motel is a good location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sioux River Campground is a good site for that; if you need a place                  to stay Tower Cafe & Hotel is a wonderful choice. Summer brings highs in the 70's to North Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
