A lake close by is South Island Lake, and don't leave North Island Lake without first going for a hike along the Bull Moose Trail. North Island Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the warmest time of the year at North Island Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the       50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at North Island Lake are in the-10's. Good hiking is available along the Deerfield Trail, and a tremendous close by hotel is Rodeway Inn Pine River. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of North Island Lake, you could also stop by nearby Middle Island Lake, and Americinn - Walker, Mn is a great site to get some rest. This place, North Island Lake, it clearly has so much                  outdoors enjoyable stuff. Camping at Sun Set Resort is always a delightful experience.
