The nice people of Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington like to hang out nearby; Hyland Ski is a very popular ski area around here. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Nokomis is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Lowry Grove is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and Lake Hiawatha is a nearby lake that you could go to. A trip to Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is recommended, and an afternoon playing golf at Hiawatha Golf Course is always a

| | delight. At Lake Nokomis all through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 20's, and night lows throughout the winter for Lake Nokomis tend to be in the 0's. Having a good time at Lake Nokomis is painless. Buck Hill has great slopes and a friendly staff, and if you need a spot to stay Minneapolis Airport Marriott is a brilliant choice. J Robinson | |

Intensive Camps is a wonderful local campground, and if you get bored of Lake Nokomis you could also have a look at close by Mother Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps don’t sound that great but Legion Lake in the neighborhood
of Lake Nokomis is quite great, and after a long day outdoors Ramada Mall of America - Airport is a good place to spend a night or two. Lake Nokomis gets a common amount of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month.
