This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Budget Host Motel Ely is a magnificent choice, and you'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Neesh Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Go for a hike on the Echo Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Grand Ely Lodge Resort and Conference Center, and a tremendous place to camp here at Niswi       Lake is Camp Du Nord. Through the days of summer here at Niswi Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 10's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Niswi Lake descend into the-20's. Don't leave Niswi Lake without first going for a hike along the Stuart Portage, and camping at Sioux River Campground is always a splendid experience.
